1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HamLicenseTestPrep.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

HamLicenseTestPrep.com provides study tools and practice exams to help users prepare for FCC amateur radio license examinations (Technician, General, and Amateur Extra). The Service includes adaptive flashcards, quizzes, full practice exams, and progress tracking. All practice questions are sourced from the official ARRL/NCVEC question pools published for public use.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe.

Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period.

Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 30 days for review.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.

Scrape, copy, or redistribute the question pool content outside of personal study use.

Share your account credentials with others or operate multiple free accounts.

Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

7. Intellectual Property

The exam questions presented in this Service are sourced from the official ARRL/NCVEC question pools, which are published for public use. The Service's software, design, layout, and original content (excluding the question pool text) are the intellectual property of HamLicenseTestPrep.com and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to keep question pools current and accurate, we do not guarantee that all questions match the current official exam pool. Using this Service does not guarantee that you will pass an amateur radio license examination. Always verify question pool validity dates and check for errata on the official ARRL/NCVEC websites.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HamLicenseTestPrep.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
